Description
Hide Empty Categories allows you to hide any empty category even if it contains empty sub-categories and it's very useful for catalogs with high number of categories.
Categories are automatically disabled if empty and automatically re-enabled when some products is published inside such categories.
Monitoring can be done hourly via Cron Job or via Magento observer method anytime a product is saved in catalog.
